Day 2 Bangkok City Temple Tour & Royal Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha (B, L)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Bangkok's most famous temples. Your first stop will be at Wat Traimit, also known as the Temple of the Golden Buddha. This temple is renowned for its impressive five-and-a-half-ton solid gold image that is over 900 years old. You will then visit Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of the Dawn. This iconic landmark is one of the most well-known temples in Bangkok and offers a stunning view of the city.

Next, you will visit Wat Po, which is the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok. This temple is famous for its Reclining Buddha (Phra Buddhasaiyas), the largest single Buddha image in Thailand, and is also the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. Today, you will take a flight to Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. Upon arrival, you will be met by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, you will visit Doi Suthep Temple, one of the most sacred temples in Chiang Mai, known as Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep. This temple is located on a hilltop in northern Thai style and contains a holy relic of Lord Buddha. You will also enjoy a panoramic view of the entire city from the temple.,,After the temple visit, you will return to your hotel and have free time to relax. Day 5 Full Day Mae Tang Trek with half day Elephant Care - No ride (B, L)

Upon pickup from your hotel, we will travel north to the Mae Tang area with a brief stop at the local market in Mae Malai. We will then proceed to a small riverside elephant camp where the elephants spend their time socializing with the few trekkers brought here and roaming to the river. At the camp, you will spend around 2 hours with the elephants and participate in their morning bath (bring a swimsuit!) and learn how to care for these lovely animals. Additionally, you will learn how to make traditional elephant medicine from natural ingredients and how to make a natural elephant scrubber from forest vines. Following the elephant camp, we will enjoy lunch before embarking on a trek through lush forest to a jungle waterfall where you can shower under the cooling cascade of water. We will then trek out of the jungle to the rafting camp where we will board the white water rafting boats for a 5km paddle down the Mae Tang River. In the wet season, this stretch of water can have some big rapids! After white water rafting, we will transfer to waiting transportation and be driven back to Chiang Mai where we will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Mae Sai Border, which is one of the biggest border markets in Thailand and located on the Thai-Myanmar border. Here, you will have the opportunity to see and purchase various products such as local foods, clothes, jewelry, silverware, and stones. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will continue to the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand meet, and is also connected to China by boat. In the past, this route was used by the Chinese for delivering opium to Siam country before spreading to other areas. You will then visit the Opium House, which is located nearby, and learn about opium routing, history, galleries, and accessories. You will then check in and receive equipment for your morning excursion, which includes tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. The tour will depart for the Marine Park, where you can enjoy snorkeling at Koh Wao (Wao Island) and hike to the viewpoint to see the emerald lake and all marine park views. Lunch will be served at Wan Ta Lab Island (Marine Park Headquarter).
