Day 1 |
Arrival in Bangkok (-) |
Upon arrival at Bangkok airport (Gate No.4), you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel. The glorious history of the capital of Thailand, Bangkok is closely linked to the Chakri dynasty that still reigns but does rule in Thailand. Install at the hotel and have free time for your relaxation.
Overnight in Bangkok.

After breakfast, we will visit the Grand Royal Palace dedicated to the ceremony of the royal family of Thailand. In the same compound is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew which is known for the Statue of the Emerald Buddha. After visiting this complex, we continue to visit Wat Pho, a giant house of the lying Buddha. Then, we visit the Wat Traimit which is well known as the Golden Buddha.
Afternoon, boarding on a long tail boat for an excursion along the Chao Phraya River and many bustling interior canals that offer fantastic views of local life close by. Along the way, we stop at Wat Arun, the temple of the Aube. Return to the hotel and free time for relaxation.

Day 3 |
Bangkok – Damnoen Saduak floating market – Kanchanaburi (B) |
Early in the morning, we drive southwest of Bangkok, visit the Maeklong railway market, take photos, enjoy the local snack in the market before driving to Damnoen Saduak, a rural floating market. Stop for a long-tailed boat trip along the waterway to the picturesque floating market of Damnoen Saduak. Then we continue on the road to the city of Kanchanaburi. Upon arrival, visit the World War II memorial including the Jeath War Museum, Cemetery. Lunch is served in a floating restaurant next to the Kwai River Bridge (by your own account). We continue to get on a train ride along the railway to enjoy a beautiful river view for around 30 minutes.
Overnight in Kanchanaburi.

Day 4 |
Kanchanaburi – Ayutthaya (B) |
In the morning, we will depart to Ayutthaya. It takes about more than an hour to reach the former Thai capital. Witness the glory of the ancient capital through its temple and palace ruins. First you will visit Wat Phu Khao Thong, or the “Monastery of the Golden Mount”, which is located just outside Ayutthaya. Then you will proceed to the ancient palace and Wat Phra Si Sanphet. You will also visit Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit, one of the largest bronze Buddha’s in Thailand.
Have lunch free on your own.
Afterwards you will visit Wat Lokaya Sutha. This temple enshrines a large reclining Buddha image.
Overnight in Ayutthaya.

Day 5 |
Ayutthaya – Pa In – Bangkok – Flight to Chiang Rai (B) |
In the morning, we will visit the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, built during the Ayutthaya era. The palace showcases an eclectic collection of buildings that blend European, Khmer, Thai and Chinese architectural styles. It’s the favorite summer palace of the King.
And transfer back to Bangkok for a flight to Chiang Rai.
Pick up and transfer to the hotel. The remaining time would be spent at your own pleasure.
Stay overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 6 |
Chiang Rai city tour (B) |
Morning after breakfast, we will visit the local market to discover the local products.
After that, we visit the world famous Wat Phra Kaew where the Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined. Move on to Wat Phra Singh where one of Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha images is now enshrined. Then a short drive from Chiang Rai City to Black House. Baan Dam (Black House) is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs. Lunch on your own and in the afternoon, we will take on our boat cruise on Mae Kok river from Chiang Rai to Karen village. Transfer back to Chiang Rai.
Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 7 |
Chiang Rai – Golden Triangle – Chiang Mai (B) |
After breakfast, drive to visit Chiang Saen, the ancient city located on the Khong River Bank. After that, visit the Opium museum which shows about the opium’s history in the past in Thailand.
Have lunch on your own at the local restaurant at the Golden triangle. Taking a boat trip along the Mekong Kong River to see Thailand, Burma & Laos meet at the Golden Triangle. Afternoon transfer directly to Chiang Mai for check in and overnight in Chiang Mai

Day 8 |
Chiang Mai city & Doi Suthep (B) |
Breakfast and the morning will be mainly devoted to the walking tour of the old town with a stop at the old wall, the moat and a door of the old town. You will see the most beautiful temples of Chiang Mai: Wat Phra Singh temple, Wat Phan Tao temple, Wat Chedi Luang temple.
Then you will stroll along small streets lined with traditional houses, where you will take a rickshaw tour. After that, you will take a walk through the central market of Warorot.
In the afternoon you will visit the Doi Suthep hill. To brighten up your evening, browse the Night Market for yourself.
Stay overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 9 |
Chiang Mai – Mae Sapok trekking (B, L) |
After breakfast, depart from your hotel in a local truck for a day of trekking in the villages of the white Karen tribe. You start with a walk in the jungle (around 2 hours) to the village where you meet and interact with the villagers.
Continue walking in the jungle (about an hour) to go to the beautiful waterfall. You will enjoy a relaxing swim and picnic lunch.
In the afternoon, you take a pleasant bamboo raft ride along the river.
Return to Chiang Mai around 17h – 17h30.
Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Morning free until transfer to the airport home or next destination. End of service.
